The concept behind New Vision Eyewear is straight forward and remarkable. Simply put, it is a marriage of several developments in modern technology.

HOW DOES IT WORK 

To understand how New Vision Eyewear works, you most first understand how a person with RP is affected by rapid changes in light. Going from light to dark or dark to light environments can be very difficult for such sufferers. To overcome this, a specially designed frame was necessary, one that would keep the eyes in a controlled environment.

With that goal in mind, what developed was a light weight attractive and highly functional solution for a very difficult problem.

The Technology Within

It's what's inside that counts, so to achieve our goal to restore lost vision, we employed some of the best technology available today. Hi-Resolution viewing devices are embedded in the eye frame. Both distance viewing and close up viewing, such as for reading are possible.

The heart of the New Vision Eyewear are two miniature TV screens for viewing. Optical lenses are used to enlarge the image. A unique feature is the ability to adjust the horizontal distance of the viewing screens. This is the distance from the center of each eye to the bridge of the nose. Proper adjustment is necessary to relieve eye strain. Only a trained eye specialist can make this measurement. Each set of New Vision Eyewear is made speciflly for the wearer as this adjustment should not be attempted by the user.
